Fun with Numbers
Fun with Numbers is back for the new school year! 🎉
Our weekly Fun with Numbers sessions are designed to make maths enjoyable, engaging, and confidence-boosting for children. Led by Deirdre, these interactive sessions take place online twice a week during the school term.
Session Details
🗓️ Start Dates
- Junior Group (ages 8–11): Mondays at 4:00 pm, starting 8th September
- Senior Group (ages 12+): Thursdays at 5:00 pm, starting 18th September
👉 While Mondays focus on younger children and Thursdays on older children, all participants are welcome to join either or both sessions, depending on what feels right for them. If your child falls outside the listed age ranges, we’ll do our best to accommodate.
Cost
Good news — there is no cost to parents. 💛
The sessions are fully funded by Down Syndrome Louth Meath.
Materials
Each week, Deirdre will share a list of simple, inexpensive materials (often items you already have at home or can easily pick up locally).
- Printable resources will also be provided.
- Don’t have a printer? No problem — let us know when printables are shared, and we’ll arrange to post them to you.
Communication & Access
We’ve set up dedicated WhatsApp groups for each age group. Through these groups, you’ll receive:
- Weekly updates on required materials
- Zoom meeting details (ID and password)
- Short videos from Deirdre explaining what’s needed for the session
How to Register
To take part, please re-register even if you’ve joined previously (we’re setting up new email lists).
Send the following details by email:
- Child’s Name
- Parent’s Name
- Parent’s Telephone Number (for WhatsApp group)
- Child’s Age
- Parent’s Email Address
